The Turtlebox Cub is a five-pound cube that puts out 118 decibels and does not care where you take it. IP-67 waterproof in fresh water or salt, dust-proof, drop-proof, crush-proof — and it floats. Put it in the lake and it comes back up still playing.

A Class D digital amplifier drives a 4.5" woofer and a 1.3" titanium tweeter, so the low end actually lands and the vocals cut through wind instead of getting eaten by it. Fourteen-plus hours on one charge from a 49.95Wh battery. Bluetooth 5.4 out to a hundred feet. True wireless stereo pairs two into hard left and right; Party Mode pairs as many as you can round up. Stainless steel tie-downs and rubber feet keep it planted on a boat deck, a truck bed or a tailgate, and the USB-C port charges your phone while it works.

DavProCo brought the Cub into our local shop because it is the smallest Turtlebox that still hits like the big ones — 8.6 by 7.2 by 5.75 inches, one hand to carry it, built for one to twenty people and roughly zero regard for the weather.
