The Taylor Stitch Surplus Pant is a men's utility pant in 9.5 ounce organic cotton reverse sateen, washed soft before it ever reaches you. Reverse sateen is the detail worth knowing: the smooth face is turned inward, so the outside has a drier, more matte character that does not shine under light.

Four patch pockets carry the workwear lineage, the two at the back closing with button-through flaps, and tabs at the back waistband take up slack without a belt. A YKK zip fly and a button top closure handle the rest. Field Olive is the shade that works with everything already in the closet.

DavProCo brought the Surplus Pant into our local shop because it is a work pant you can wear to dinner. Military inspiration, none of the actual military.
