The Taylor Stitch Mercer Cap is a five panel cap in 12 ounce organic cotton corduroy, which is the detail that separates it from every twill cap on the rack. Corduroy gives the crown a soft structure and a bit of depth, so it looks worn-in on the first day rather than stiff and new.

The five panel shape sits lower and flatter than a trucker, with a shorter brim that does not overwhelm. Drift Club carries a vintage-inspired graphic, the kind of thing that looks like a club you might actually belong to rather than a logo.

DavProCo brought the Mercer Cap into our local shop because a good hat finishes an outfit and forgives a morning. This one does both without shouting about it.
