The Taylor Stitch Division Shirt is a men's overshirt cut from 12.5 ounce organic cotton sashiko, heavy enough to wear as a light jacket and soft enough to wear as a shirt. The signature California collar sits well open or buttoned, and the sashiko weave is the reason this one keeps getting better instead of wearing out.

Two mitered chest pockets close with button-through flaps, and the left one carries a pen sleeve. Burnt corozo buttons and double-needle felled seams do the quiet structural work. Washed Indigo fades the way good indigo should, gradually and around the places you actually move; Cypress is the flatter, greener option for when indigo is too much of a statement.
