The Katin Ren 57 Classic Straight is a men's five-pocket jean cut to a straight leg with a mid-rise waist. In Washed Black, it sits in the part of the closet that gets reached for without thinking.

The classic straight fit runs clean through the thigh and knee without tapering, so it stacks properly over a boot and stays honest over a sneaker. A zip fly and standard five-pocket styling keep the details where you expect them. Washed black holds its depth better than a raw black and does not announce itself.

At DavProCo, our local shop brought in the Ren 57 because a straight-leg black jean is the one pair most closets are actually short of. It works for dinner and it works for Tuesday, which is the whole argument.
